Arkansas and Hillary Simpson finish second behind Lariat and Joe Fargis at the 2013 Jump for the Children’s Duke Benefit Horse Show Grand Prix Saturday night. From the start Arkansas and Hillary had a fault free first round well under the original time allow and setting a pace hard to match. As they went first in the jump off Arkansas and Hillary again were fault free and fast, it was not until Lariat and Joe (the last to go) laid down a fanatics finish over the last vertical and oxer to bet Arkansas by only a second.
Arkansas will be heading to Florida this winter for the WEF 2014 season, we wish him and Hillary the best of luck next year and hope that they have another successful season.
